More Than Just Camel Rides

Cameleer Chis O'Hora with prize camel Ralph

"Aside from the unique gait of these incredible camels, & the beauty of the Australian bush, cameleer Chris O'Hora's sense of humor, knowledge and love for his camels made our camel trek along the Bibbulmun Track an unforgettable experience."

*       An educational experience; from breeding, rearing and training his camels, cameleer Chris O'Hora and his staff, take pleasure in sharing their knowledge and experience of these unique animals.

*       Visitors can enjoy a short or extended trek by Camel and experience a whole new perspective of our 'Darling Scarp' environment

*       Relax in our tranquil bush setting and enjoy a family picnic or barbecue. Light refreshments are available.

*       Spend some time watching farm and native animals go about their daily activities.

*       Explore the many forest trails surrounding our farm.

*       Take time out to smell the wildflowers! In season, magnificent displays of wildflowers are abundant. Also, the native species of banksias, eucalypts, casuarinas, grass trees and the age old cycads provide a wonderfully peaceful environment.

*       Encounter kangaroos and wallabies while camels carry you quietly through the forest and listen as the forest echoes to the calls of the many native birds.

Hikers and Cyclists are welcome at the Calamunnda Camel Farm

*       Walkers and Cyclists start and finish your journey from our facility. Vehicle parking is by arrangement and we have direct access to the now famous Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Track.

*       School groups can experience the exhilaration of riding a camel for the first time while learning about these amazing animals. A wonderful school excursion for all age groups.

*       Enjoy simple old fashioned service, homemade treats, hot and cold drinks from the elevated Tea Rooms overlooking the farm. Free activities for all the family. Disabled Access.

*       Fully catered overnight camp-outs and extended treks available.
